The Texas Chainsaw Massacre was loosely inspired by
the serial killer, Ed Gein. Ed
Gein used to use the flesh of his victims for various purposes
including masks. That is where the inspiration for Leatherface came.
Leatherface is a psychotic hillbilly who wears the flesh of his
victims as a mask. The original Chainsaw movie was an effective
horror in the sense that it will scare the crap out of you. It
eerily takes place out in the middle of nowhere, Texas. When a bunch
of teens making a cross country drive encounter the creepiest
hitchhiker who slices one of the teens and himself with a razor.
When they get him out of the van they continue their trek, to hell.
When they meet up with a family of freaks their lives will change
permanently. |
